
SR Semi Today Launches TPW4020DQ, China's First High-Power Single-Die High-Side Switch, Filling the Domestic Gap in High-End Automotive-Grade Switch Products
This switch reduces the single-channel on-resistance to 20mΩ (at 25℃ ambient temperature), a 40% decrease compared to the industry average, which significantly lowers conduction loss and heat generation, and frees up space for integrating high-precision monitoring circuits.
The TPW4020DQ integrates 12 comprehensive diagnostic and protection functions, including overcurrent/short-circuit current limiting, over-temperature self-protection, and reverse polarity protection. It can play three roles simultaneously in scenarios such as thermal management, chassis control, and intelligent power distribution in new energy vehicles: high-power load driver, system status monitor, and fault risk fuse. Its peak current limiting capacity of 70A can handle the inrush current during the startup of devices such as electronic water pumps and PTC heaters. The high-precision current monitoring function also enables predictive maintenance to enhance system reliability.
Currently, the TPW4020DQ adopts the EQSOP14 package, which can be directly Pin-to-Pin replaced with international mainstream solutions. It has already secured定点 orders from several new energy vehicle manufacturers and is expected to achieve mass production and delivery in the third quarter of 2026. In the future, SR Semi will launch multi-channel high-side driver products with SPI communication interfaces to further enrich its switch product portfolio.
